The power of affirmations & visualization

Ordinary people believe only in the possible. Extraordinary people visualize not what is possible or probable, but rather what is impossible. And by visualizing the impossible, they begin to see it as possible.

Affirmations & visualize what you want it’s a habit that I have been practice for a couple of decades. I start doing a treasure map when I was 20 years old, I was not clear of what I want in that moment, but I was clear that one of my dream and goals was to travel around the world. So I bought a guidebook of how to do a treasure map (vision board) where it teach you how to do a collage with pictures from magazine or paint what you desire, wants or dreams are in a certain or precise period time, also add powerful affirmations and inspirational quotes. This treasure map you hang or place in an area that you can see and read every day. Its like practice an attraction rituals.

In a transition of 5 years 90% of what I put, add and wrote became true. I added pictures of new York, modeling pictures, a type of house that I want, places where in that moment I want to visit, also a picture of the type of partner that I want lol! I wrote financial goals, physical goals and professional goals. I experimented the power of visualization and affirmation because I create them in my mind, I set intentions and the energy. Since them, I have been doing a treasure map every 3-4 years.

Here is a briefly explanation of how you can start getting what you visualize:

First step, get ready and clear your mind.
Second, if you don’t have time to do a notebook with pictures just write your desires and intentions define your purpose, commit to them and get the next level.
Third, if you have time to get creative gets scissors, glue and magazines, print pictures, write your favorites quotes, beliefs, affirmations or inspirational phrases and have fun.
Finally place your art in an area where you can see it every day and consistent read and watch you treasure map programing your mind and supporting your beliefs in you and creating success.
And last thing I am sharing one of my favorite powerful words from the book The Monk Who Sold his Ferrari by Robin Sharma:

“Everything is created twice, first in the mind and then in reality”.
